The challenge:

Launch and generate awareness of the new 7Up Free by bringing back Fido Dido, the loveable 7Up character from the 90s at a time when pop culture and nostalgia are on the rise.

Create a super chill concept event dedicated entirely to inspiring consumers to connect with their inner Fido Dido and do nothing but… just be!

What we did:

We collaborated with the PepsiCo US brand and design team to bring Fido Dido’s 2D world to life and merge it with our world taking the consumer on a journey of discovery and engagement. We created a 2D/3D world in the form of a 3-day pop-up brand experience in central London.

Our empathy for Fido Dido’s world and the audience’s nostalgic memories meant we were able to create a consumer journey littered with fun and engaging consumer touch points.

We created a full external wall wrap of the venue for a tour of Fido Dido’s 2D house checking out his front room and kitchen and even walking through his fridge into his back garden where guests were encouraged to add their graffiti to his back wall. All guests were distributed free samples and merchandise as they discovered new experiences throughout the pop-up. All these touch points brought back the sense of the 90s pop culture.

All perfectly aligned to Fido Dido's world.
